Recorded live in Studio A at KDVS in the summer of 2012. This was the last recording Caulfield ever did, and possibly the last musical output Joel Graham was ever a part of before his death. Minimal additional mixing done post production. It took a lot for me to post this and this will likely only be online for a short amount of time.
Chris Lemos - guitar and vocals
Danny Lomeli - guitar
Joel Graham - bass
Steven Sessler - drums

Very good, spirited heavy psychedelic rock. I like the pure rawness of the vocals—the singing style has an honest, unpretentious attitude to it that reminds me a bit of early punk. Music is lively, yet heavy, with often a doomy feel. Reminds me at times of Thin Lizzy or grungier Neil Young. I look forward to more from this band. I imagine they sound exactly the same live as they do on the album…that’s praise. 2nd fave song: IDKU.
Thanks PK!

The stygian duo explore themes of gender dysphoria and oppressive institutions through sludgy doom with a pitch-black underbelly. Bandcamp Album of the Day Apr 26, 2021
